Happy Sunday Morning Everyone….

Hello World. I hope the weather is sunny and bright where ever you are, and if you had the May snow, that it has all melted so everyone can start enjoying spring. Being in southeast Louisiana, we didn’t get any snow, but we were in the mid 40’s, Thursday and Friday nights. Yep, only in southeast Louisiana can you wear shorts at Christmas and winter coats in May. I kid you not! 🙂

I been very busy w/ children, running a small business out of my home, dr appointments, homeschooling, and just life in general. I kept saying that I would get back here and write, to get back in touch with everyone, but time, or energy, never allowed such. I hope, to be back here permanently, but the for moment, I am here now.

I missed everyone so much, reading all of your thoughts, ideas, life’s challenges, and just everything that ya’ll had to share. I am going to go into my reader and start working my way back thru the blogs and liking your writings/photos.

I will get back later on today, to share photos, and more of our mishaps, I promise, life here is not boring!

Thanks for the read my peeps,
Later,
Reba

For those of you in constant varying degrees of pain, or w/ no time to clean, here’s a cleaning tip!

These Lysol wipes, the dual action kind, are perfect for cleaning the kitchen, gritty side down!
Removes most baked on crap, and wipes up spills on the counter, w/I a lot of effort!

In the bathroom, daily, I wipe down tub to keep soap scum from forming, gritty side down!
Same wipe hits the toilet seat!

In under 5 minutes I am done in both rooms as far as wiping down goes anyways!

Clorox also has a dual side wipe, but I think Lysol ones were .75 cents cheaper at Walmart!

IMG_0820This is in response to A Word A Week Challenge: Music

When I saw this Challenge, I became excited. Music is a very important part of my life. I did not study music in particular, or play any musical instruments, though I did learn to play piano when I was a child. My interest in music has recently been enhanced by my newly developed hobby–video making.  It is all because of my new iPhone 5 which I got around November last year. I brought it as my camera and video camera when I went on a trip to South America.  I took many pictures and video clips with my iPhone.  When I came back, I started to learn about creating videos from a number of video clips.  For some of my readers who  follow my other travel blog My Notebook, you may have seen these videos before.  For South…

Sorry For Not Keeping Up With My Blog and Yours

Hello World. It’s Holy Saturday for all of us Christians alike. Masses here in southeast Louisiana are at the usual times, plus a the area Cathedral has also added an 11AM mass for the morning.

Yesterday Lauren, Becky, Kristie Lynn and I spent the day with my brother and his family. The crawfish was great, the company was better. The three kids did an Easter egg hunt, with over 5 dozen plastic eggs, plus 3 dozen hard boiled eggs, the kids hunted eggs for almost 45 minutes. Breaking open the plastic eggs to find the treats inside, kept the 3 kids busy for another 30 minutes.

Tomorrow we are all getting back together again, for Easter Sunday, my brother is doing a barbeque. I am making a coconut cake, potato salad, and a macaroni salad. Becky has found a recipe for a chocolate and peanut butter dish, so she’s making that and a banana pudding with vanilla wafers.

I have been very busy trying to get the storage units cleaned out and organized. I have tons of fabric, I can’t create new items if I don’t know what fabrics I have available to me in storage.

For me, especially today, pain has been a true issue. Even with my maintenance pain medicine, the pain in my right knee is terrible. Earlier I took a tramadol and went prop up my leg. That helped alleviate most of the pain, but as soon as I put weight on the leg to get out of the bed and come into the living room, the darn leg was throbbing again.

I had no choice, I took 1/2 of a loratab, which when I prop the leg back up, does help with the pain. My issue with Loratabs is that my brain seems to race and I don’t sleep well for a day or two. I guess I can’t be too particular and expect to be pain free and gain sleep all in one day.

I be back later, going fix dinner for Lauren and I,
Thanks,
Reba
